In a place far away from here, in a land like a random planet called Earth, a girl who loves to wear bows and colorful funny dresses went to her first science class. To her surprise, the class was full of gray people. She thought: where are the colors? Where is pink, purple, blue, and the rainbow? The grey people looked at her and shouted in fear: “A girl with a bow, a stupid girl.” You, the reader, might be thinking, haven’t they seen a girl with a bow before? Well, reader, they had not…
The grey people ran around in class and wanted to stay away from the girl with a bow as much as possible. The girl who wears bows felt overwhelmed by the situation, and, like any other smart girl with a bow, she refrained from crying in front of the grey people. But when she went home, she cried to the infinite and beyond. While crying, she thought about what was wrong with her, and the more she thought, the more her tears went from pink to gray tears. Those gray tears became a physical form of a vast, horrendous monster. The days passed, and the monster followed her as a shadow. It was a constant reminder of how different she was. One day, the girl who wears bows woke up and figured out she had become a grey person. You, the reader, might be thinking:” mmm, her problems were solved; nothing like being able to fit in with the class.” But, our pretty fearful hero felt disappointed. She did not feel relieved to be like the grey people. Her pink bows and dresses were gone too. She felt like a stranger.
She went to class the day after becoming a grey person. Instead of getting a warm welcome now that she was like everyone else, they told her she was a fraud. Looking grey does not make you a grey person. Don’t worry, reader; our hero is approaching to understand something that we adults took us our childhood to get it. The girl who wears bows got upset. She turned around and told the monster, I changed; I gave up what made me. The monster stared at her with compassionate eyes and replied: “There is nothing wrong about wearing bows, little girl; what is wrong is thinking you cannot wear them with pride. Crying and fearing are what make us humans. Your value is not measured by how you look to do science. They will eventually value your intelligence and kindness. Let them know that girls who wear bows are as smart as any other classmate. They could do science too.” The girl saw the monster with new eyes, realizing that the monster was all the time inside her mind. She created her own limitations.
To make a long story short, she went back to wearing even more giant pink bows. Pink bows were so big that they were near the planet's size. Sadly, this is not a fairy tale, so there is no happy ending forever and ever. Although the girl who wear pink bows wear them with pride again, many girls who wear bows never end up being grey people. END!
